While clearly only the first half of a story, this CG outing provides interesting character development for Tristan and great monster designs. It was a nice change of pace to see Chi involved in some drama that wasn't humorous. To add a true dramatic scene to the series gives it a more well rounded view of Chi's world. Chi and Cocchi are two rambunctious peas in a pod. The crazy duo get into all sorts of trouble in Chi's Sweet Home, Volume 7.
Chi also experiences her first time being sick. So while still adorable, not quite as adorable as previous installments - but still realistic and enjoyable in depicting Chi's feline life. In her nearly thirty year career, Konami has penned more than a dozen comic series, with the majority of them focusing on cats and pets.

Konami is well regarded within the pet-manga community for her keen sense of cat ecology. Her ability to observe and render feline behavior has earned her respect from the Japanese manga community as a whole. Chi's Sweet Home will be Konami's first translated work. Chi follows Yohei to school, gets lost, and finds her friend Cocchi. Blackie shows her the way home, but she has eaten something bad and gets sick. After a trip to the vet she comes home to recover.
This is such a sweet manga series for anyone who loves cats. Is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kanata Konami. It was serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Morning from 2004 to 2015, with its chapters collected in twelve tankōbon volumes.

This volume picks up where the last one left off of. Its clear that Cocchi is a street cat and doesn't have home . But Chi follows Cocchi around anyway and despite Cocchi's tough exterior I think Cocchi likes Chi. In volume 10, Cocchi and Chi plays with two kittens that look very similar to Chi and might be her siblings. Afterwards, a woman gives him food in an alley and calls him Tiny.

I love how the ever-pushy Chi brings out the softer side of the street-hardened Cocchi. Thank goodness big brother Blackie is always looking out for Chi. I like reading these in the morning to help me wake up. I can't understand full pages of text when I'm barely awake so this is helpful and keeps me from scrolling through my phone for and hour or two. The "litter training" arc is a little odd, as kittens old enough to eat solid food usually have at least a basic understanding of the litter box. It's probably just a case of Rule of Funny.She knows what to do, she just didn't think of that box as her litter box. She showed that by scolding Yohei and saying he had to cover his shorts with sand. Konami Kanata was born on July 3, 1958, in Nagano, Japan. The daughter of an elementary school teacher, most of Konami's stories are for readers of all ages making her one of the most accessible artists in recent history. Adorable and funny as always- and I love the addition of Cocchi and the development of Blackie/ Chi relationship.
The episodes are 3 minutes long and equivalent to one chapter from the manga. Cocchi made the fountain at the park his turf. The Yamada's first saw him at the end of the 7th book. ― The arranged marriage while in high school is a staple of manga romance. So too, is the young heir to a major yakuza family, and it is hardly uncommon to see those two tropes merge in a single story. We will certainly look for more volumes of Chi's story at our local library. This is the seventh book in the Chi's Sweet Home series. We were introduced to more characters in this story and we see that Chi is becoming more bold and adventurous. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. Chi is as adorable as ever in Volume 7, and now she has a kitten accomplice adding to the adorableness. He is Cocchi, a stray kitten whom Chi takes to playing with and following around. In this installment, we also see Blackie and Chi gets a new housemate .
